Uutiset - NewsGetting to know Blaser F3 & F1627.08.2016 I cannot say I regularly follow any printed newspaper. I do read the biggest paper in the country, Helsingin Sanomat online, but I´m next to impossible to reach via traditional advertising. Our gun laws also force to buy a gun without actually trying it. Luckily the arms manufacturers have come up with the concept of introduction days. Yesterday I attended one organized by Blaser in co-operation with Haulikkokoulu. Their target group was our very own Haulikkohelmet - ladies´shooting club. We were half a dozen ladies trying out Blaser´s different models under the supervision of coaches from the Haulikkokoulu. Blaser has introduced the all new F16 this year and it´s price tag is very attractive - somewhere around eur 3.000 depending what you want. I may be getting rid of my Browning GTS (interested buyers, get in touch!), so perhaps a Blaser would be a great replacement? I cannot say I have anything bad to say about the F16, in fact one of the very experienced shooters was very impressed - especially with the trigger mechanism. I am not that much into detail - I just know if something feels good. Then I tried the F3 Vantage. At first it was tripped of its extra weight in the gun stock, so it felt too light. I prefer a heavier shotgun, so I immediately felt better when the extra weight (stock AND barrel balancer system available!) was added. In fact, it was very balanced and I quite enjoyed it. I think the gun in question had 30" or even 32" barrels - and it did not feel awkward at all. In fact my favourite gunshop has it in stock! If I had my doubts before, I am a true believer now. Blaser is in the business! Special thanks to Ville. The president of our club at the Haulikkokoulu. |
