Uutiset - NewsShooting and settling in21.04.2018 Beretta 1-Cupseason finally started for me, too. I had to miss the first two competititions, but when Kiikala calls - I´ll be there! And what a nice day it was, even if it was a bit chilly and I did not cope with the windy conditions at all. Considering the both two practise rounds I have had this year, I had a decent start - 14. I also had a new cartridge - Lyalvale - which is supposed to be fast. The second shoot was a disaster, I was struggling with the wind tossing the clay pigeons all over the place - a very disappointing 10/25. The third round was in the notorius "gorge" - but I think I made one of my best ever results in there - 15! So a total of 39/75 - this is what I can do at the moment. I´ll go for more paid practice tomorrow! ** Then ofcourse the latest from Simon, the lab. He has settled in very nicely and is showing very pleasing signs of a working labrador; athletic, nosy and full of energy, but knows how to relax and take it easy, too. I have had him with me at work, at the shooting range, in the car, at the vet - and he is at ease everywhere. He is also housebroken - provided I read him. I have failed a couple of times :) Topi and Luppo have accepted him very well - especially Luppo has found a soulmate to act foolishly with.. :) Simon is absolutely adorable and I am superhappy to have him in my pack! |
