Unelmien ampumaratapäivä Lopella // THE Shooting Range Day

Päivää vietettiin Lopella 4.toukokuuta 2026 ja olin luvannut mennä ja olla apuna, jos tarvitaan. Kuinka ollakaan. Kun samalla vietettiin Eräneuvos Kari Kuparisen juhlaa ja mukana oli myös kokelma Benellin haulikoita, löysin itseni hoitamassa tätä haulikkorastia. Ja se on sitten mukavaa! Kokeneita konkareita. Niitä, joiden edellisestä ampumaratavierailusta on jo vuosia aikaa. Heitä, joille kaikki on uutta! Kaikki ovat tervetulleita, kunhan haluaa kuunnella ja noudattaa turvallisuutta koskevia sääntöjä ja tarvittaessa muutamaa ohjetta ammunnasta. 

Todella mukava, hyvän tuulen tilaisuus ja sopivasti porukkaa kokeilemassa. Oma ihastukseni löytyy Benellin uudesta mallista tälle vuodelle: Benelli 828U Supersport. Siinä on vakiona rekyylinvaimennus (Comfortech3), tukin pudotuksen ja sivuvääryyden säätö (PerfectFit), erityisen vahva lukkorunko (LockPlate), joka eliminoi rekyylin rasitusta ja ase kestää käyttöä ja aikaa. A.I (advanced Impact) tarkoittaa tässä yhteydessä tilavampia piippuja, jotta hauliparven lähtönopetta saadaan kovemmaksi ja näin sen läpäisy on parempaa pidemmälle matkalle. Erämessuilla pääsee testamaan jopa 100 matkalta, jos osuu "lähempänä" lentäviin kohteisiin ensin.. 😁 Crio-kylmäkäsittely vaikuttaa kitkaan, piipun lämpenemiseen ja värähtelyyn, haulikuvioon ja käyttöikään.

Siinä on muuten SE ase, jolla en ikinä ole ampunut ohi.. 😁😁

Iltapuhde oli sen verran kiireinen, etten ehtinyt peurasopalle ollenkaan, mutta kakkua ja kahvia sain - ja hyvän mielen. Seuraava etappi on Etelä-Pohojammaa!

So the summer is almost here - the leaves are popping up, there´s this intense green everywhere - even if it has been really dry, the fields are dusty, but the plants stubborn enough to just push through the dirt!

So it was a good time to open the shooting range season and there was a special event at  the Loppi Shooting range, because not only did we have a selection of Benelli guns at our guests´ disposal, but also, we honored a key person on the range; Mr Kari Kuparinen was awarded the title of "Eräneuvos" - which could be translated as "Honorary Counsellor of Hunting and Wildlife". I had a very good evening supervising the test fire arena for different Benelli and Beretta shotguns. Plenty of first timers, people who have shot before, but a long time ago - and active people, interested in the novelties the manufacturers have to offer.

I was completely in awe of the latest Benelli over-and-under; the 828U SuperSport. So smooth, so nice to shoot - and in fact, currently the only shotgun in the world I have not missed with 😁😁

Still very, very busy at work, but I can see some light at the end of this tunnel - in a month, I´ll be free as a bird!
