Riistapolkua ja tuomarikoulutusta // Simulated game shooting and professional development..

Riistapolkujen määrä on romahtanut parhaimpien vuosien yli 30 tapahtumasta - tänä vuonna kuusi (6!). Mutta tarkoitus on kiertää jokainen ja sunnuntaina oltiin Mäntsälässä. Upea ilma, joskin edelleen villapaitaa päälle! Niinpä ei tullut yllätyksenä, että 

väkeäkin oli riittävästi - kahdelle ensimmäiselle rastille jonotusta oli noin 1½ tuntia, mutta kevyttä jutusteluahan aina riittää, kun joka puolella on tuttuja kasvoja!

Aloitin mainiosti - täydet pisteet, mutta kolmosella oli vaijeriliuku: lintu ja kettu, onnistuin vetämään ohi molemmista. 🤐 No, lenkki päättyi taas onnistuneesti - molemmat kiekot ongelmitta alas. Enkä edes vaihtanut supistajia, kun ajattelin, että on näyttävämmät osumat 😁 Olihan ne!

Seuraavaksi vaihdan kerrassaan mainion B. Raffaello Be Diamondin päällekkäispiippuiseen; B. 828 U Sport lähtee radalle sunnuntaina, koska leirikin lähenee. Vielä 20 päivää ja t-paidassa tarkenee ampua - siltä näyttää!

Lopella järjestetään Suomen Metsästäjäliiton SM-ammunnat ensi kesänä (24.-27.7.25) ja olen mukana myös järjestelyissä. Eilen oli sen tiimoilta tuomarikortin päivityskoulutus ja tänään on kisaorganisaation kokous. Tekemistä riittää...

First two stations, and I was doing great - the third one; a gamebird and a fox sliding down a steel wire, and I missed them both. That was the start of my simulated game shooting. The weather  - even if still a woolen jumper kind - was sunny, so a lot of folks was expected. And we got just that, heaps of people so much so, that for the first two stations we were standing in line for about 1½-2 hours! But simulated game shoots are fun - 8-9 stations, moving and stationary targets, some easy some small and quick.. I have had my semiautomatic favourite; Benelli Raffaello Be Diamond A.I. Be.S.T. - but for the next event I´ll change to the over-and-under 828USport - as my first ever training camp awaits - and also, in 20 days T-shirt should be enough under my shooting vest. Cannot wait!!

The Game shooting Championships will be held at my home range, so naturally I am volunteering in the organizing committee. Yesterday I educated myself regarding the rules, I am together with a collegue, in charge of the trap shooting event - so I need to be on top of the latest!! Today is yet another meeting, so no shortage of things to do.
